Part-Time Construction Manager
Location: Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to oversee projects from start to finish. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction projects from conception to completion
- Develop project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
- Manage construction budgets and costs effectively
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality work is being completed
- Conduct site visits and inspections regularly to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project status
- Ensure all safety regulations are being followed on site
- Hire and manage subcontractors as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore or BuilderTrend is a plus

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $900 per month based on part-time hours.
