Experienced Welder in Funchal, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Welder, you will use specialized equipment to join metal parts and perform various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Your main responsibility will be to fabricate and repair metal structures according to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Inspect welds for accuracy and ensure they meet quality standards
- Plan, lay out, and assemble structural units using appropriate tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc welding, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work consistently
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Welding or related field is an asset
- Experience working with stainless steel is a plus
- Previous experience working in construction or manufacturing industry preferred
