Office Assistant - Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail for shipment or courier pickup
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations
- Monitor office equipment and request repairs or maintenance as needed
- Assist with coordinating travel arrangements for staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Salary: 1100$ per month
