We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role does not require any prior experience, making it a great opportunity for beginners or non-native speakers looking to gain experience in an office environment. Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Greeting and assisting visitors and clients
- Managing and organizing office files, documents, and records
- Scheduling appointments and meetings
- Making travel arrangements for staff members
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Providing general administrative support to all team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
