Office Assistant - Funchal, Portugal
We are hiring for a reliable and proactive Office Assistant to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors to the office
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data entry
- Keep track of company expenses and assist with budgeting
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and payments
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Office Assistant or Secretary is a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
