Job Title: Merchandiser Coordinator

As a Merchandiser Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all merchandising activities in our retail stores in Funchal. Your main duties will include organizing product displays, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that visual merchandising guidelines are followed. You will also be responsible for communicating with vendors and negotiating pricing and delivery schedules. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be crucial in maintaining a visually appealing and well-stocked store. This position requires a biometric passport for travel between Funchal and other locations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate merchandising activities in retail stores in Funchal
- Organize product displays according to company guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules
- Ensure all visual merchandising guidelines are followed
- Train and supervise other merchandisers in store layout and product placement
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with company standards
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and displays
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotions and sales strategies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or visual coordinator, preferably in the retail industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Attention to detail is essential for this role
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel between Funchal and other locations
- Biometric passport required

Location: This position is based in Funchal but may require occasional travel within the country.

Salary: The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
