Carpenter vacancy in Funchal Portugal

Carpenter
We are a busy construction company located in Funchal and we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with an urgent start date.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Repair damaged structures or replace parts as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this full-time position.

Note:
This job is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to candidates who are currently located in or willing to relocate to Funchal.
