Part-Time Carpenter for Student Housing in Funchal

Our company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Funchal, providing part-time services for our student housing properties. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing various woodworking tasks such as building and repairing furniture, installing fixtures, and performing general maintenance on the properties.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in carpentry and possess strong technical skills. You should also have a keen attention to detail and be able to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Complete woodworking tasks such as building, repairing, and installing furniture
- Perform general maintenance on properties including fixing doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Ensure all work is completed with high quality standards and within given timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Strong technical skills in woodworking with the ability to read blueprints and use various tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Must be a student currently residing in Funchal or willing to relocate

Salary: $900 per month (based on hourly rate of $10 per hour)
