Land surveyor vacancy in Funchal Portugal

Land Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Funchal. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting measurements, gathering data, and creating maps and reports for various land development projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and maps
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to collect data on land features, boundaries, and elevations
- Use surveying equipment to measure distances, angles, and elevations accurately
- Create detailed maps and reports using collected data
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate mapping of land features for design purposes
- Review existing survey records to determine property lines and boundaries
- Maintain accurate records of survey findings and prepare reports for clients or government agencies as required
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred but not required
- Own visa or ability to obtain necessary work permits preferred but not required

Location: This position is located in Funchal but candidates from other locations will also be considered.
