Entry-Level Gardener

As an entry-level Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the plant life in Funchal. You will work under the supervision of experienced gardeners and assist them in tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and watering. This is a physically demanding job that requires being outdoors in various weather conditions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees
- Pruning plants to maintain their health and appearance
- Removing weeds and other unwanted plant growth
- Watering plants according to their specific needs
- Applying fertilizers and pesticides when necessary
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for gardening and be willing to learn from experienced professionals. No prior experience is required, but a basic understanding of gardening techniques would be beneficial.
