Handyman (Contract) - Funchal, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team on a contract basis in Funchal, Portugal. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy objects and working at heights. This is a contract job with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa for working in Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing light bulbs
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting walls, replacing broken tiles, and maintaining gardens
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and plumbing issues
- Install new fixtures or appliances as needed
- Keep track of supplies and inventory levels for necessary materials
- Follow safety procedures when handling tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Skilled in various trades including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if needed
- Own visa for working in Portugal

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
