Sales Representative
We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team in Funchal. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to potential clients. Your main goal will be to increase sales and revenue, while building strong relationships with customers. This is a commission-based position with a starting salary of $1100. We do not provide accommodation or visa assistance, so candidates must have their own visa to work in Funchal.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships with current and potential clients
- Negotiate terms of an agreement and close sales
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by the company
- Continuously improve product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or relevant role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have a valid visa to work in Funchal
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. A degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This job may require standing for extended periods of time during presentations or meetings. It may also involve occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions:
This is primarily an office-based job but may require occasional travel to meet with clients or attend industry events. Working hours may vary, including evenings and weekends to accommodate client availability.
