Administrative Office Manager
The Administrative Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and administrative tasks of our office in Funchal. They will manage a team of administrative staff and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in an office management role, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise administrative staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure smooth operation of office equipment and systems, such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Create and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and order new supplies when needed
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail in a professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an office management or administrative role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Portuguese is preferred but not required
