Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services to potential clients. You will also be in charge of maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local and international market
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and tour operators
- Conduct market research to identify trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Create customized proposals and negotiate contracts with potential clients
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery for guests
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one
