Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue. This role requires a highly motivated individual with previous experience in hotel sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport and be able to travel for business as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve hotel booking targets
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients
- Maintain existing client relationships through effective communication and follow-up
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management on performance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Biometric passport for international travel as needed
- Knowledge of the Funchal market is a plus
