Junior Computer Research Scientist


We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Braga. As a Junior Computer Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to develop advanced and innovative computer technologies. Your main goal will be to identify solutions for complex problems in the field of biometric authentication.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments to develop cutting-edge computer technologies
- Analyze data and draw conclusions based on findings
- Collaborate with team members to identify solutions for complex problems related to biometric authentication
- Develop, test, and improve algorithms for biometric authentication systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of computer research, particularly in biometrics
- Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences
- Work closely with software engineers to implement research findings into practical applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of biometric authentication systems is preferred but not required
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for staying updated with advancements in the computer science field

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Braga, Portugal
