Quality Assurance Engineer



As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, record, and track defects through their resolution
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure defects are resolved and updates are tested accordingly
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Verify bug fixes and perform root cause analysis on recurring issues
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into testing processes
- Provide timely reports on testing progress and results

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java) is a plus
- Understanding of agile methodologies is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Location:
This position is based in Braga but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Salary:
