Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Braga. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a background in information security and a strong understanding of network and system security principles. A biometric passport is required for this position. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation will not be provided.

As an Information Security Analyst, your duties will include:

- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses in our systems and networks.
- Implementing and maintaining security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity and responding to any potential threats or incidents.
- Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach or other emergency.
- Working closely with other teams, such as IT and compliance, to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends in order to proactively mitigate potential risks.
- Conducting regular training sessions for employees on best practices for information security.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network and system security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption protocols, etc.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and techniques.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A biometric passport is required for this position.
