Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. Your role will involve using statistical techniques and algorithms to manipulate and interpret data, providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large amounts of data from various sources
- Clean, filter, and prepare data for analysis
- Use statistical methods and software to analyze data
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings
- Collaborate with other teams to develop strategies based on insights from the data
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or analytics role
- Proficient in SQL and statistical programming languages (R, Python)
- Experience working with large datasets and databases
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Location: Braga, Portugal (accommodation provided)

Salary: $900 per month (plus free visa and ticket)
