Junior Database Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Braga. As a DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our database systems, ensuring data integrity and security, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and tune as needed
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Develop scripts for automation and data manipulation
- Collaborate with other teams to support application development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with SQL query optimization techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
