Part-Time Interpreter in Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time interpreter to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective communication and understanding between our clients and their counterparts.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services in a professional manner
- Facilitate communication between clients and their counterparts
- Interpret spoken language into another language accurately and clearly
- Listen carefully to both parties to ensure accurate translation
- Use specialized vocabulary and terminology when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times
- Adapt to different interpreting settings, such as business meetings, conferences, medical appointments, etc.
- Collaborate with other interpreters if necessary

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used for interpretation
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances quickly
- Knowledge of specialized vocabulary related to various fields (medical, legal, business, etc.)
- Biometric passport for international travel is required

Salary:
Starting salary will be 1500$ per month for part-time work. Full-time opportunities may become available in the future.

This position is located in Braga, Portugal.
