Interpreter and Translator


We are searching for a skilled and professional Interpreter and Translator to join our team in Braga. As an Interpreter and Translator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient translation services in a timely manner. Your main duties will include interpreting spoken words from one language to another, translating written documents, and ensuring cultural sensitivity in all communications.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services between individuals or groups speaking different languages
- Translate written documents such as contracts, reports, or emails
- Act as a cultural liaison to ensure effective communication between parties from different backgrounds
- Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy and grammar
- Research terminology in various fields to ensure accurate translations
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted/translated information
- Attend meetings or events as needed to provide interpretation services

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Interpreter and Translator with fluency in at least two languages (English and Portuguese)
- Strong knowledge of grammar rules and linguistic differences between languages
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey meaning clearly and concisely
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Experience using translation software is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics or related field is desired but not mandatory
