Plasterboard Worker



As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific areas, securing it to walls and ceilings, and finishing it with joint compound. You may also be required to repair or replace damaged plasterboard.

To excel in this role, you should have previous experience as a Plasterboard Worker and be familiar with various tools and techniques used in the trade. A keen eye for detail, physical strength, and good hand-eye coordination are also essential qualities for success in this profession.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Secure plasterboard to walls and ceilings using screws or adhesive
- Apply joint compound to cover seams and create a smooth finish
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard as needed
- Follow safety guidelines while working at heights or with power tools
- Communicate with contractors or clients to understand project requirements
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Familiarity with various tools including saws, drills, levels, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints or follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights
- Good hand-eye coordination for precise measurements and cuts
- Attention to detail for creating a smooth finish on the plasterboard
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as needed
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
