Plasterboard Worker


We are currently hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in plastering, drywall installation, and finishing techniques. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we are seeking someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit walls and ceilings
- Install plasterboard using screws, nails, or adhesives
- Repair any damaged or uneven surfaces before installing plasterboard
- Apply joint compounds to seams between plasterboards
- Sand down rough areas and apply additional coats of compound for smooth finish
- Follow safety protocols while working on ladders or scaffolding
- Clean up job site after completing work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with strong time management skills

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this contract position.

This job is located in Braga, Portugal but we welcome applicants from other nationalities who are legally eligible to work in Portugal.
