Job Title: Contract Turner in Braga

We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of lathes and other cutting tools to shape metal parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and brass, to create parts for different industries.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for parts
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects
- Collaborate with other team members and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in operating various types of lathes and machining equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Good physical stamina as the job may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials
