Metal Worker

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Braga. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, strength, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or other technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using hand tools or machinery
- Weld or solder metal components together to create structures or repair damaged parts
- Use grinders and other tools to smooth and finish metal surfaces
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Certification in welding or metalworking from a trade school or vocational program
- Experience working with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, copper)
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Braga. Candidates who are currently living in Braga or willing to relocate will be given preference.
