Metal Fabricator



As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for shaping, cutting, and assembling metal pieces to create various structures and products. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and marking metal pieces, operating welding equipment, and using hand and power tools to shape and cut metal. You may also be required to perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties, as well as experience working with welding equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to read technical drawings are also essential for this position.

This role requires someone who is physically fit as it involves standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions. You should also be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. A high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred. This full-time position offers a salary of $1300 per month with the opportunity for overtime pay. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this position.
