Commercial Architect - Braga, Portugal
We are seeking an experienced and talented Commercial Architect to join our growing team in Braga, Portugal. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and restaurants.
You should have a strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes, as well as experience with commercial projects. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their vision and requirements for commercial projects
- Create detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee construction progress and make any necessary adjustments to plans
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality and address any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
