Machine Operator



We are in need of a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Braga. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating various types of machinery to ensure production runs smoothly. This is a contract job with an urgent need for immediate start.

Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Operate machinery including but not limited to lathes, saws, and drills
- Monitor machines for any malfunctions or issues
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of machine set-up, operation, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This job is located in Braga.
