Long Haul Truck Driver

We are hiring a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Braga. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and adhering to safety regulations. This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of concentration and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods over long distances
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules according to customer demands
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delays or other issues
- Adhere to all applicable laws regarding weight restrictions, hours of service, etc.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver with a good track record
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to navigate through various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and operate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is a plus
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: $1000 per week
