We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, thermometers, and sensors
- Calibrate instruments according to technical specifications and industry standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on instruments
- Identify potential issues or malfunctions in instruments and take appropriate corrective actions
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous chemicals or materials
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation is preferred
- Prior experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling delicate instruments
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
