Radio Technician
A reputable radio station in Braga is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all radio equipment and systems used by the station. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$, without accommodation and open to candidates with their own visa.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and broadcast consoles
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with equipment or systems
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist in setting up new equipment and implementing new technology for the station
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless operations of the station
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio broadcast systems and equipment
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
Preferred:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience working in a radio station environment
