Full-Time Caregiver in Braga, Portugal



We are searching for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide full-time care for our elderly clients in Braga, Portugal. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Our ideal candidate is patient, understanding, and has previous experience working with elderly individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedule
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals
- Engage in activities to stimulate mental and physical well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Must have a caring demeanor and be able to handle sensitive situations with empathy
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Must be physically able to perform duties such as lifting or assisting with transfers if needed

Salary: 1700$ per month

Working Hours: This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Schedule may include weekends and holidays.

Accommodation: This is a live-out position. Accommodation will not be provided.
