Master Body Repair Technician

We are a leading automotive repair company located in Braga, seeking a skilled and experienced Master Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a Master Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. This includes performing bodywork, welding, painting, and other necessary repairs using specialized tools and equipment. You will also be responsible for identifying and diagnosing any mechanical or structural issues and providing cost estimates for repairs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in body repair, preferably with knowledge of various vehicle makes and models. A valid biometric passport is required for this position. We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month, along with accommodation options for out-of-town employees.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, rust removal, sanding, and filling
- Weld or replace damaged parts as needed
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix paint colors to match original finish
- Apply paint using spray guns or brushes to achieve desired finish
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
- Document all repairs performed and parts used in electronic systems
- Communicate with customers regarding repair status and any additional recommendations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or certification in auto body repair preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a body repair technician
- Proficient in bodywork techniques such as dent removal, rust removal, sanding, filling, welding, etc.
- Knowledgeable in various vehicle makes and models; ASE certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify mechanical or structural issues
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid biometric passport required
