Office Manager - Braga, Portugal

As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office in Braga, Portugal. Your main duties will include managing administrative tasks, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and coordinating communication between employees and external parties. You will also be responsible for organizing meetings and events, as well as maintaining office schedules and budgets.

To excel in this role, you should have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. You should also have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs are also required.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails
- Manage office supplies and equipment inventory, ordering new supplies when necessary
- Coordinate communication between employees, clients, and other external parties
- Organize meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Maintain office schedules and budgets
- Process invoices and expenses using basic accounting principles
- Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Office programs
- Assist with HR-related tasks such as onboarding new employees or updating employee records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office management is a plus
- Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with HR processes is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working hours: Full-time
