Web Developer (Porto, Portugal)


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Porto, Portugal. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other web programming languages
- Collaborate with designers to turn mock-ups into functional websites
- Ensure website code is optimized for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues as needed
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and apply them to projects when appropriate
- Communicate project progress and any potential delays or issues to project managers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in web development
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other web programming languages
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for website development
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
