Job Title: DevOps Developer (Contract) - Biometric Passport Implementation
Location: Porto, Portugal
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Porto on a contract basis. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security measures, we are implementing biometric passport technology and require a talented individual to assist with the development and deployment of this system.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated processes for software builds, testing, and deployment. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of the biometric passport technology into our existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated processes for software builds, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biometric passport technology into existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the implementation of new technology
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on the system as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in DevOps practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
