Machine Learning Engineer



We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team in Porto. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models to process and analyze large datasets. Your role will involve collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and other team members to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning techniques
- Conduct research and experiments to improve model performance and accuracy
- Develop data pipelines to clean, transform, and prepare data for use in machine learning models
- Work closely with software engineers to deploy machine learning models into production
- Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Experience with common machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with database systems and SQL
- Good understanding of statistics and probability theory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques such as neural networks, CNNs, RNNs
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop
Salary: Starting salary of $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is located in Porto. Candidates from other locations are welcome to apply; however relocation assistance will not be provided.

Visa Sponsorship: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must have a valid work permit for Portugal.
