Senior JAVA Developer


We are seeking an experienced Senior JAVA Developer to join our team in Porto. As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications using the latest technologies and best practices. This is a contract job opportunity without accommodation, suitable for men with a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using JAVA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Write efficient and testable code following industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing software
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in software development
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+ and its core libraries (e.g. Collections, Concurrency)
- Experience with Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate
- Experience with web services (RESTful APIs) and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
