We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Part-Time Android Developer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of applications to ensure quality and functionality
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Android development
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and refactoring
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience with Android Studio, Kotlin, and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Previous experience working remotely or in a part-time role
- Knowledge of iOS development
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month based on experience.
Location:
This is a remote position based in Porto, Portugal. However, candidates from other locations will also be considered.
