Information Security Analyst

We are searching for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's data and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will work closely with the IT department to implement security measures and protocols, as well as conduct regular risk assessments to identify any potential weaknesses in our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data
- Monitor network activity for any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular risk assessments and make recommendations for improvements
- Perform penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to ensure our systems are up-to-date
- Respond quickly and effectively to any security incidents that may occur
- Train employees on best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security analysis or related field
- Knowledge of various operating systems, networking protocols, and security tools
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of encryption techniques and methods
- Experience with incident response procedures
- Knowledge of risk management principles
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
