Data Mining Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Specialist to join our dynamic team in Porto. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and extracting valuable insights to inform business decisions. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data mining tools such as R, Python, or SAS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities:
- Identify patterns and trends in large datasets using data mining techniques
- Develop algorithms and statistical models to extract insights from data
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and quality of analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Portugal without requiring accommodation.
