We are currently seeking a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data in order to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our data management and analytics teams to develop strategies for data collection, cleansing, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to discover patterns within the data
- Developing models and algorithms for data mining and predictive analytics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and make data-driven decisions
- Creating reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through quality control measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with data mining tools (e.g. RapidMiner, Tableau)
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques (clustering, regression, classification)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure)
