Data Analyst


A data analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. They use various statistical methods and tools to interpret the data and present it in a meaningful way to help organizations make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large amounts of data
- Using statistical methods and tools to analyze the data
- Identifying patterns and trends in the data
- Creating visualizations and reports to present the findings
- Collaborating with team members to understand business needs and provide insights
- Developing models for predictive analytics
- Communicating complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Continuously monitoring data quality to ensure accuracy

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a data analyst or in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, R or Python programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Location: Porto, Portugal (candidates from all nationalities are welcome)
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Contract (6 months with possibility of extension)
