Data Analytics Manager


As a Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of data analysis for our company in Porto. This includes collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to identify trends and insights that will drive business decisions. You will work closely with various teams to develop data-driven strategies and solutions to improve our company's performance. Your role will also involve presenting findings and recommendations to upper management and training team members on how to effectively utilize data. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for utilizing data to inform decision-making.

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Porto, Portugal

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and patterns
- Develop models and algorithms to extract insights from the data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to upper management in a clear and concise manner
- Train team members on how to effectively use data in their roles
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends in data analytics and recommend new tools or techniques that can benefit the company's performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of data mining and machine learning techniques is a plus
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
