Entry Level Database Administrator
A growing company in Porto is seeking an Entry Level Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our senior database administrators to assist in the maintenance and support of our databases. You will be responsible for data backup and restoration, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is eager to learn and grow in the field of database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and support of databases
- Perform data backup and restoration tasks
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
- Work closely with senior database administrators to learn and develop new skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Preferred:
- Previous experience as a database administrator or related role
- Familiarity with security protocols for databases
- Experience with data integration tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
