Job Title: Junior Database Administrator

As a Junior Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with our team of senior DBAs to ensure efficient and reliable database operations. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the database and its underlying infrastructure
- Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity and security
- Assist with database design, implementation, and optimization
- Collaborate with developers to improve application performance and functionality
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling
- Familiarity with database management tools such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Location: Porto, Portugal (candidates from all nationalities are welcome)
Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)
