Junior Painter

We are a painting company based in Porto, seeking a Junior Painter to join our team. As a junior painter, you will work under the supervision of our experienced painters and assist them in various tasks related to painting projects. This is an entry-level position and is ideal for beginners or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in the field of painting.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Mix paint and other materials according to instructions
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Assist in cleaning up work areas after completing projects
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Learn new techniques and skills from experienced painters

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in painting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in painting such as brushes, rollers, ladders, etc.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

Salary:
We offer a salary of 1100$ per month for this contract job. The salary may increase based on performance.

Location:
The job is located in Porto. We are open to candidates from any nationality but must be legally allowed to work in Portugal.
