Formwork Technician


We are a well-established construction company in Porto and we are seeking an experienced Formwork Technician to join our team. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine the materials required for formwork installation
- Construct and assemble formwork according to specifications and safety standards
- Install reinforcement bars as needed
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten materials
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts to move materials
- Ensure proper alignment and levelness of formwork
- Pour concrete into formwork and remove once it has set
- Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
- Follow all safety procedures on site
- Communicate with project managers and other team members regarding progress

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Formworker or related role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month depending on experience.

Location:
This job is located in Porto. Please note that accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have their own visa or work permit.
