Industrial alpinism vacancy in Porto Portugal

Industrial Alpinist

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Porto. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing high-altitude maintenance and construction work on industrial structures such as bridges, towers, and buildings. This is a contract position with accommodation provided and the candidate must have their own visa to work in Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Perform high-altitude maintenance tasks on industrial structures
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment is properly secured
- Install, repair, and maintain equipment and structures using ropes, harnesses, and other specialized tools
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as cranes, lifts, and scaffolding
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Alpinist or in a similar role
- Valid certification for industrial alpinism or rope access techniques
- Physically fit with the ability to climb and work at heights for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial alpinism
- Ability to read blueprints and use specialized equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This job is located in Porto.

Candidates must have their own visa to work in Portugal.
